A half-day or full day of workshops about the biodiversity all around us. The group plays games, uses their senses, and engages in discussion and interpretation to learn and increase their own awareness.

The minimum number of participants is 15 people. A deal is offered on every 10 participants.

Biodyssey
A new visual, participative, and creative workshop to teach participants that biodiversity is all around us in different forms and that everyone can help to protect it. The workshop contains 90 magnets and three boards representing different ecosystems. The workshop can be adapted depending on the school grade to include discussion, games, and awareness. For example, the available material can address many issues, such as pollution or human impact on the environment.

SNEAK PEAK!
Discover dinosaurs with figurines, replicas, and pictures, along with extinct mammals like the mammoth, the smilodon, and more. Mammoth and T. Rex teeth, a velociraptor skull, emu feet, and reptiles are waiting for you to discover, a colouring activity will be offered at the end of the workshop.

Study and identify different domestic birds that live at the farm. Compare them with the adaptations of their wild cousins.

On different species of birds: chicken feet, osprey feet, feathers, skulls, etc. The difference between a duck and a bird of prey! Mounted specimens of animals like the snowy owl, the rough-legged hawk, and camouflage experts like the ruffed grouse!

Sharpen your observation skills in the forest by looking for wooden animals, and work in teams to win this fun game.

Dive into the waters of the river in the Journey to the Bottom of the St. Lawrence multimedia experience to discover the phenomenon of the tides, the geography of the river and the importance of aquatic species. Migrations in peril
Using a backlit map of animal migrations at risk, the group can have discussions, solve problems, and offer interpretations through a matching game. The goal of this activity is to better understand what migrations are, human impact on them, and how to protect endangered species.
Motivated to work in groups participants are entrusted with different migratory species to encourage discussion. Can bad weather harm them? Are humans also to blame? What about pollution? What can we do as individuals or as a society? Are you ready to migrate towards sustainable solutions?

Nature engineering – the art of camouflage!
SNEAK PEAK!
Discover how reptiles, birds, mammals, and fish hide in their environment. What is “mimicry”? As part of the exhibit, tarantula, cockroach, frog, toad, and friends will show you some camouflage techniques.
