Description

A half-day of exploration and discoveries to introduce young children to the nature that surrounds us. The group will play games, observe nature, and handle objects to learn. We only welcome children ages 3 and up to pursue our mission of raising awareness and conserving natural heritage.

Reservations

To make a group reservation, contact Isabelle Denis, head of activities, at 819 222-5665 ext. 4 or at centre@biodiversite.net. We recommend booking several months in advance. You do not need to make a deposit.

The minimum number of participants is 15 people. A deal is offered on every 20 participants.

Arthropods

Observe and handle different species of arthropods. Learn to distinguish an insect from an arachnid or a shelfish.

Discover and observe different adaptations of diurnal and nocturnal birds of prey of Quebec.

Crafts and colouring

Workshops with different skill levels to discover the animals of Quebec and their ecosystem.

Dinosaurs

Discover different species of dinosaurs, how to identify them, and how they lived. Look at fossils and explore different geological eras.
