Centre de la biodiversité

The "Centre de la Biodiversité" is a non-profit and a non-funded organization. Our mission is to educate youths and adults and bring awareness to the existence, the conservation of Quebec’s biological species, and the sustainable development of the planet. A sensory center which offers entertaining and direct contact with nature and its living species.

Interpretation Center

In 2008, the Interpretation Center will undergo a complete transformation. The construction will begin in the Spring and will continue through Fall. The new center will offer comfortable installations, new exhibits with a new four-season educational program, and new interpretation stations throughout the forest.

New in 2008 - From June 24 through October 31
The Center is proud to collaborate with the Ministry of Natural Resources and the « Conférence régionale des élus du Centre-du-Québec » to present the exhibit « Comment rapatrier la faune dans votre forêt ». (How to repatriate the wildlife in your forest)

The « Centre de la biodiversité du Québec », an educational tourist center, is offering guided tours of its magnificent forest. By strolling through our four kilometres of walking trails, discover the wooded areas likely to attract wildlife in your forest. Aboard the "Biotrain" or by foot, the forest reveals its natural resources. Guided tours in the wooded trails are at 11 am, 1 pm, and 3 pm (duration: 90 min). Limited conveniences. Don’t forget to visit the marsh! Meet the Mini-Farm’s new arrivals! From mid-September through October 31, the apple orchard will be open every day from 10 am to 5 pm. Groups are welcome (with reservations).
